Perfect to add a disc slot for a computer without one. I hate that they are doing away with the disc slots. Works perfectly though. The price is on point as well. Just plug into USB and you have a slot.

It's nice to have a drive when you need it but have a slimmer laptop. Most programs are online but some things are still on DVD. Great to have this around for those things that are still on DVD. Pick one up - price is great!

Has made it possible to play audio CDs for school. Its lightweight and mobile i can use on laptop or desktop. However it makes loud noises that make me feel like its about to break down. not sure if this is normal.

This external player works great. We bought it for my son's computer because his computer didn't have a DVD drive. Quiet play as well and is slim design and doesn't stick it anywhere. Got it on sale too so the price was great.

This was a great addition to our new PC, since they don't come with CD drives standard anymore, & all my games were on CDs.

It’s good that you can still get these for your disks . . . . . I still have programs and files on cd so I really needed this to replace the one that died in my laptop. There were only 2 to choose from so I picked the name brand, works great so far.

The external USB DVD drive will be used for TURBO TAX and other software. I purchased it in advance of need, but it was helpful for my new computer setup due to Willmaker and other software which had to be loaded. Easy to use.

Need a disc drive for gaming computer. Hey, they still work! I don't like always down loading from the Net.

This was the easiest set up for me, had to read something on a disk and ordered online at best buy, it did the job of reading my disk, would recommend to anyone needing an external drive.

I bought this because most PCs and laptops don't come with disk drives anymore. It worked perfect with my HP Windows 10 laptop! I like that it doesn't need an additional power source.

I had a few old DVDs that I wanted to preserve. The process was easy and quick. Great product.

Instructions were nonexistent as to where to find the software on the included CD to download. After finding and downloading it, the drive worked ok. So far, I haven't used it for anything else other than to view DVDs.
