My Dell External Ultra Slim USB DVD Drive (bought 2014) did not work when I upgraded my Dell Desktop and Dell Laptop to Windows 10. The Dell Drive was only compatible with Windows 7 and 8. The LG External USB DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive resolved the issue immediately. Thank you.

Works great for the price point. I have no issues with it. The player fulfills the purpose that I needed it to.

This external dvd writer was such a good deal and does the job for my laptop. Just remember it’s not a Blu-ray or 4K player so not for current entertainment formats but for business applications, it does the job. Can’t beat the value for this item.

I was in the market for a new laptop nowadays they do not give you a way to install your programs, that you have this was a bargain at the time and I jumped on it. So far so good.

This CD/DVD reader/writer is excellent. You just take it out of the box, hook it up to your computer and, presto, you are ready to work. I’d didn’t require lengthy and complicated instructions. The price was excellent since I got it on sale. It would be worth it at the regular price.

This works great if you are looking for a CD drive to rip ISO files from your old game disks for emulation. Works well with ImgBurn.

In these times where no longer are DVD players built into computer, this is a good one for those still needing one. Small and lightweight.

Awesome accessory for newer laptop that doesn't include an internal drive. Definitely couldn't beat the sale price either.

I'm old school and like my disks. So when I purchased a new computer and discovered that most did not have a disk drive I purchased this one. It does everything i need it to and more. I can disconnect and with out the added weight the new computers are lighter.

When I purchase this, the Geek Squad programmed it for use on either an Apple or a PC. This is a wonderful advantage and it works great on both.

Very easy to use. Plug and play. Got it to download so home movies that were on dvd to my Mac

Needed to install drivers for my motherboard and didn't want to risk missing one though manual install, so I wanted to use the included drivers disc. No DVD drive on my case, so this did the job. Still use it from time to time, plug n play, price isn't too bad either.

The LG - 8x External USB double-layer DVD+RW/CD Drive is working as good as I expected and I've been using it almost daily. IT has a nice compact size and it fits in nicely with my other computer equipment.

I loved it. It solved many problems I have with my light weight laptop and small desk. So now, my printer, flashdrive, table lamp, and fan all my supporting devices are woorking great.

My new computer came with no CD/DVD,bought this unit. It works great,would recommend to a friend.

This is so handy and portable. Bought for travel but so handy for newest laptop that doesn't have an internal drive.
