LG external USB is very convenient whether it’s a hub or storage. External power is always good to have a free up space so your computer is not congested and some even have a cloud source installed where the data is salvage even if the product is damaged you can always upload the data from CLOUD to continue where you left off. Great product

I really like the flexibility of using this with an older MacBook. I was able to rip some old home movies and upload them to ICloud. I was also able to burn some discs with no issues. It handled about 25 discs without issue

I have been so glad I was able to purchase an external USB so I could use my cds and dvds with my mac.

Great little DVD player. Doesn't rewind though. Still cute.

easy setup and does what it needs to do with no problems

I originally purchased the standard CD/DVD player but swapped it out for this player. The players are similar, pretty straight forward set up. Easy to use for data purposes but I did have some issues playing DVDs. Had to download some software and even then went into the store to get some technical support.

Works very well takes up no room.Great way to save important documents, files ,and memories. $11.00 dollars was great deal...

I bought this only because my new all-in-one computer did not have a cd/dvd drive. Will I need it a lot; probably not. But I still like a cd/dvd drive available to me. it works fine; not really much else I can say about it; it does what it is supposed to do.

I purchased a new HP laptop but it did not have a DVD / CD player with it. This LG external one was the perfect solution. A quick connect and it's ready to go. I use it to install all those old software discs that I don't have a download version of … works great.

have been backing up my CD collection to digital format and this LG has been a workhorse!

This DVD player is the size of a CD case. It plays well and is exactly what I needed for DVD watching on the computer. I am very happy with the purchase. It has also made it possible for me to input all those old CDs I had sitting around. So happy now!

The CD-RW drive costed me about $30 when I bought it in the store. In order to get it to work properly, I had to download software online at a cost of about $60.

I had many CD and DVDs that I was not able to use when I purchased a laptop as a replacement computer. I needed something to read these discs and back them up on either external hard drives or flash drives. I am glad I did since I had many photos stored on the discs.

My internal CD/DVD player quit working and I bought an external player that didn't work either due to my current drives. The Best Buy Geek squad recommended this LG drive which works fine and is easy to use.
