This was just what I needed. I got a new Lenovo laptop and it did not have a CD/DVD drive. I won’t use it much but occasionally need one. I have already used it and it did what it was supposed to do. Fits my needs.

Easy to setup and use. Have used a couple times since buying it about a couple of weeks ago and the results are good.

Easy to use, just plug into the USB port and you are good to go. Lightweight, durable enough to travel in the backpack computer bag for a month now without any damage.

My daughter has been playing cd's without any problems since getting this player. She played her first dvd today, there were limited to no instructions with the player and none displayed when the dvd was placed in the player. The "Best Buy geek squad" to the rescue, we had to find and download the software. This info should have been with the player.

Most laptops no longer have built in CD/DVD drives. I still have many old school CDs and DVDs that I still enjoy, and this allows me to enjoy them on any laptop or pc. Works with every device I've tried so far.

This DVD/CD External drive is awesome and exactly what we needed. Our new computer has no DVD/CD drive and it works great so we can still use CD's to install software.

This external USB DVD drive was reasonably priced. I was able to easily copy old files from my decades old floppies to my newer DVDs via this device.

Easy plug and play. Connected to my older Dell Latitude with supplied USB cord. It's a bit noisy and vibrates while spinning up since it is mostly plastic. Used it to download programs from a disc with no problem. I purchased on sale for a great deal.

The player works very well for me. I have a laptop that don’t have a dvd drive so purchase this one to used and so far so good. It’s user friendly and very simple to use because it’s a plug and play device

Low price, I had a CD, DVD player that went bad in my Dell computer. The only way to fit it was to tear the whole computer apart. So I just added the usb plug and play DVD, CD unit.It is well worth the money, I made about 25 videos, from tapes to DVDs. I’m very happy with this unit.

It's simple and straightforward. The tray is on the fragile side but if handled with care will last a long time. Best Buy was great in handling me picking it up from the story.

Without this drive I could not use my turbo tax or any cd's of mine not to mention movies. Geek squad set it up for me (I am not very Teck savvy) and I am very happy using it.Little

This was a great addition to our new PC, since they don't come with CD drives standard anymore, & all my games were on CDs.

This external cd player is very portable and handy when i need to listen to music from my old cd. I would recommend this to my friends.

I bought a new laptop after getting home I realized it had no disc drive. I went back to Best Buy and the guy recommended this unit, I have been using it and have had no issues just plug it in and use.

Most newer systems do not come with an optical drive. I needed two of these at a decent price since I just dropped about two grand on two systems. Got them for 20 bucks each (half price) and don't have to worry about excessive heat since they are external.
