Last thing I planned on buying when I bought a new Dell "All-In-One" computer was an external DVD drive. However, for some reason, the "All-In-One" does not have an internal DVD drive. Super easy to set up and works very fast. Very happy with this purchase.

I appreciate the sleekness, square design/edges, and light weight of the device. Capable of being connected to my new laptop WITHOUT the need for manually installing software with the provided CD was definitely a bonus.

This is super handy considering I'm old school and like playing my old PC games :)

My new pc lacks a CD drive, so this was an effective way to maintain one of its primary uses -- to play music! Simple to plug-and-play. And, best of all, quite inexpensive!

Really missed not having a dvd drive on my new laptop. Was so glad to see that there was a DVD external drive to use with my laptop. Now I can still use my software programs and install on my computer.

In a world where everything now goes to the Cloud, one has to determine the safety of storing information on those servers. This external drive allows you to be "old school" and take the same information and upload it to a CD reader. Simple concept and you control the documentation. It might be old school, but it allows you to keep information in your possession.

A CD is provided with this CD drive, however you do not need to use it. It has extra products if you are interested. We plugged in the CD drive and put our CD in without installing anything and it read the CD. Easy squeezy.

Portable and on the go...laptops now a days doesn’t come with a Cd Drive..Just plug it in the USB port and your good to go. My car still takes cd so I mostly use it for my car don’t like connecting Bluetooth.

The cd/dvd player in my iMac no longer played cd’s. DVD’s play fine. This external CD player fit my needs to play cd’s and download to my iMac. Great little player at a great price.

This unit works well and is a good value. I had no issues getting it to work on my Windows 10 laptop. The build doesn't feel particularly sturdy when being handled, but at the prices is what I expected. Recommended.

Works great with my HP laptop, provided I'm not trying to literally use it on my lap! I wish computers would still come with built-in DVD drives, but that's "progress" for you.

I purchased this external DVD drive because the new HP laptop I bought didn't have an internal one. I would have preferred an internal drive, but this one is easy to use and works well.

I needed to purchase this external drive because my new laptop did not have a disc drive. It appears to be working just fine and I am happy with it.

I bought this player when my school (I'm a teacher) made changes to our technology and I lost the ability to show DVD recordings to my students. Took it to school, plugged it in and PRESTO! I'm back in business! I love it and my students are glad too.
