Was easy to set up and get working out of the box. Only thing I don’t like is the weight, seems to be cheap plastic, would have expected a little more strength at price point. Would have waited for a sale but needed right away. Will see if it holds up, got 2 yr warranty for $5 just in case.

Never know what to expect but this Sony plays in the big leagues. Disc handling is great and video is excellent as it should be. Plays cds better than expected and passes bitstream to the dac in the avr. Looking forward to a solid performer

A needed item for my laptop. It's hard to find a laptop with a dvd/cd player in it. This works perfectly for my needs. A really good buy. Haven't had any problems with it. Works like it should.

I purchased it around the time I started my Master's program. I needed something fast and affordable. I highly recommend this external drive for ripping and playing CD/DVDs.

Had to purchase a cd drive due to my new laptop not having one. Most new ones do not come with one anymore but I needed one to access some items that I saved. Don't really use it all the time but comes in handy, so it is perfect for that.

LG has always been my go to brand for phones, tvs, portable speakers and pc accessories. With most laptop pcs now without an internal DVD this is a must have. Quality item, lightweight, easily portable.

The drive plays CDs with good clarity of sound. The device is simple to load a CD into and easy to retrieve it when one wants. It is attractive and blends well with my computer.
