Portable and on the go...laptops now a days doesn’t come with a Cd Drive..Just plug it in the USB port and your good to go. My car still takes cd so I mostly use it for my car don’t like connecting Bluetooth.

I love this for watching movies or installing software. I’ve bought several over a length of time. Good price

I like to do some things off line and still have several CDs and DVDs that I frequently use. So having something like this has become a necessity. At least for me.

This is a great addition to my new Microsoft Surface Laptop. Compact design doesn't take up a big space in my computer bag so I can carry it on all of my trips. Very good quality for a great price.

I had purchased a new Laptop from Best Buy and the new laptop did not have a DVD Drive which I needed a DVD Drive. They recommended me this DVD Drive and it worked great for what I needed it for. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Easy to use and set up. I needed to download some new software to my laptop, which no longer come with a CD drive. This is my second purchase of this item in the last 10 years only because I lost my other one during a move.

Plug and play. Needed an external CD drive for my Mac. This one was inexpensive and easy to use. No need to install software or have an external power cable. Powers via usb. Great choice. No issues with it so far.

Finally found a dvd burner that my laptoo recognized blank dvd in it. Now just have to get the software to burn dvd's.

Its is a fantastic item, performed as expected. When you have a 16TB device and what needs to be transferred is on a CD AND your tower doesn't come with a cd/dvd drive then this the the way to go. You will not be disappointed.

Got this for a gift based on sales person's recommendation. Have not yet received info from the recipient. It does provide a way to extend your computer especially with older Disc games and music since newer laptops don't have a direct CD port.
