Works as intended. Newer PC's cases do not have a place to put a burner, thus the external model.

Love this product. Since I don't have a player on my new computer I needed something that can transfer songs. This is perfect and does not take up a lot of room on my desk. This is my new go to product for transferring songs and movies.

Great DVD player. Completely plug and play with my Dell laptop. Very happy with the fast delivery from Best Buy. Definitely recommend this player/recorder.

Who needs CD/DVD drives anymore, right?!.. that's what I thought when I got a Surface Pro 2 years ago. Until recently, I needed it. So I went out and got this LG external DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. I just plugged it in and it did the job. Easy! No hassle.

Handy compact size for limited desk space, and makes clean copies, however it is just a tad bit slow.

I needed to download QI Macros on my Galaxy Book but there is no available DVD/CD drive. I was informed that I would need an external drive. I went online and found this. It was just what I needed. I did have to purchase a usb to c adapter.

My drive on my laptop died when I updated my OS to windows 10. I needed an external DVD/RW to pull up old files saved to disk and convert over to thumb drives. Worked like a charm.

This portable USB DVD drive works. Great for hooking up to a laptop that has no DVD drive to play DVD movies.

Plays DVDs. At least, it played the one I tested without problem. Pretty basic, but that's okay. I needed this because I have some DVDs I need to play for classes and the new MacBook Air I bought does not have a DVD player.

Love this to play those now old fashioned discs... we loaded a couple of old CDs and they played perfectly with no issues. No special software, no unwieldy manual, no PDFs - just plug it in and go. Love it!

This was just what my son needed so that he could play the many computer games that he had that were on a disk. It was super easy to load the software on his laptop.

We bought this to use with a MacBook as an external optical drive and it works perfectly for playing DVDs and CDs. Also useful for installing apps/programs that are on optical disks. Thank you!

Bought this because the desk top computer I bought didn't have a DVD drive with it. Plugged this in and it worked perfectly. Was able to burn my family pictures onto a DVD.

Needed an external media drive as we recently purchased a new laptop that was all solid state memory. Best Buy only charged $20.00 for this drive as part of the new laptop package. Can't beat it.

My laptop came without this driver and found this one to be a very good choice. I like it a lot. Easy to use.
