Many of my old pictures and a few programs are only on DVD. It's easy to plug in and do what needs to be done.

For some reason, the media player on my laptop could not access the DVD player. The Geek Squad representative showed great patience in downloading another media player that worked.

Does the job

I connect only when needed so it spends most time in a drawer. Reads all movie disks I've tried. I haven't tried burning anything yet.

Just what I needed

However with this I'm able to do that with its usb connect. Definitely a life saver.

Well worth what I paid for it.

LG External DVD Drive

Just plug it in, and your Windows 10 knows what to do with it. It's an essential item for gaming machines. They don't have extra drive bays, and you never know when you need to load a driver, (in my case, a printer driver).

LG external disc drive

This does the job for under $20! Ding 1 star for cheap plastic body.
