This works great. The only thing I can find fault with it is that you have to spend a lot of time installing software for it. It would be better if it were plug and play.

Tiny Drive that saves my life. I have a MacBook Pro and it does not let me play any cd on it. I love the item and the price. Overall, does a great job for a great price.

I totally needed to install some software on my computer to an embroidery machine i now have. This drive worked like a charm. Now I use it to watch DVD movies on my computer and play exercise

A little confusing how to get started. Just put a written media into the drive and it will kick in. Don't need to bother with the enclosed instruction media to have computer recognize the new drive. Can utilize it after drive is recognized by your computer. Works great and very inexpensive.

The LG External hard drive that I purchased works like a charm. It is very easy to use. I downloaded various CD's and this hard drive made easy work of it. Thanks so much. Mary Ann

Needed an external drive to watch DVDs and listen to CDs on my desktop. This fits the bill perfectly. Got mine on sale, and I'm very satisfied.

I would highly recommend this CD reader. It is easy to use and reads all sorts of formats. This was also on sale at the time of purchase so it was definitely worth it.

Bought a new computer without realizing it did not have a DVD+RW/CD drive which I use often. Was recommended this item from an associate at the Manhattan, KS location. I use it all the time, and have had no issues with it.

this is a very nice optical drive very good for downloading software to your computer.

I have a Windows 10 PC and my old DVD player stopped working. I also have iTunes Software, so I didn't need to install the CyberLink Media Suite. The DVD Writer works right out of the box. I played music and burned a music CD using iTunes. I have not tried to watch a movie - maybe then I'll need the CyberLink Media Suite. Until then, I will not be installing it. My only complaint is that the USB Cable is too short, but I used another cable I already had so the device didn't have to be on the floor. All in all I'm very please with it.

Haven't tried to burn any media but adds an easy to use solution to today's laptops that don't have an optical drive

I bought this drive for my MAC because I didn't want to pay for the Apple product that was twice the cost. I was afraid it may not work on my MAC, but it worked perfectly. Very easy to use, especially for someone not great with technology.

Who would have thought we could do without a DVD drive on the computer? Love that I have my 8x External USB Double layer DVD drive.

I plugged it in and it worked with software I already had to play DVD’s. I have not tried to burn anything as yet, but so far so good.

Since the new MacBooks do not have a CD drive, do to their slim design, I decided to buy one of these portable ones. It works very well and does the job right. The cable is usb so I did need to buy a usb-c hub for my MacBook.
