It did what I needed it to do and I might use it to burn a video or two in the future.

DVD for Mac Laptop

He has some old CD's but we recently bought a new laptop that does not come with a CR Rom. So this helps a lot

It works off USB power without a hitch. I have burned disk with it and it did so flawlessly. It is a great little product.

No problems with a variety of media, from nasty old CDs to dvds to burning data. Quick and easy to setup, a bargain price for a great product.

Fixes a Laptop Issue

I have mine on an external USB 4-port and it works great.

Get rid of cd software that comes with product.

Blue screen of death, couldn't boot to OS any longer had to reinstall with clean version of OS and reinstall everything from scratch. Used windows software and have no problems now.

LG was inexpensive, but it worked fine.

Set-up was easy and the LG drive was able to read the CD without and download the tax data without any problems. I have not tried to view a movie yet, but I'll be doing that next.
