It's nothing special, works great for the rare times you need to pull data off a disc. if you're getting this to watch DVDs on you computer...give it up already and go digital.

New computer purchased did not have a dvd drive. Have been very happy with the LG. Has performed as expected.

Bought this external drive for loading disk software, and so far it works perfectly. Also very thin and compact. Very satisfied!

I was glad this was in stock at my local Best Buy store. It was on sale and seems to be a decent external drive that can read CD and DVD discs.

This LG drive is perfect for software that has to be loaded, viewing movies, doing homework, etc.

Thus far, its performance has been great. I highly recommend this product because of its performance as well as efficient cost.
