It does what it was meant to do. It isn't expensive. Cons: The plastic was flimsy and I would worry about the longevity. It was a bit glitchy, often wouldn't open or would take long to open. For the price it's ok but would recommend to shop around for something with a better quality in build and with less glitches, but if you need something very slim, this product is ok.

30 day trial software

The software that comes with it is a free 30 day trial then you have to buy if or find other software that will do the functions you want. Free VLC Media player and free CD Burner XP do most everything I need.

But My Laptop Does Not HAVE a CD drive, until now.

Great external DVD drive

This model fit the bill. Got it cheap over the holidays (Thanks, Best Buy!) and it works great. Very happy.

Less than half the price of the Apple one and comes in space gray! Not that that is important. But it does burn to the M class DVDs and the Apple one doesn’t. Great deal on sale.
