I went to Best Buy in search of a cable to connect an old Sony DVD external drive. But, instead of a cable, which was more expensive, I ended up with an LG DVD drive, instead. I have not been disappointed.

Slick...small...lightweight DVD/rom player and plays movies CD-ROMs beautifully. Plug in and play. Love this.

Easy to use. Self explanatory. Portable. Great device to have to watch DVDs. Definitely recommend it.

I purchased this to use with an old computer so that my children can watch DVD's. It's compact and can be put away when not being used. It serves it's purpose and was inexpensive

Great drive just really needs a longer cable. I use it on my new desktop and the cord is too short so it has to go on the floor.

It does its job great so far. Have been using it to upload cds into my iMac. Too bad old disc that were heavily used become scratchy and not much to fix on that part.

I bought this for work because my company supplied laptop did not have a drive and I needed to have access to old software only available on a DVD.

I needed a cheap external drive to attach to a laptop which does not have an internal CD/DVD drive, and this works perfectly. Plus, it was not expensive. No problems connecting or using it with Windows 10.

Nice little DVD drive for the price. I have a gaming PC so anything more would be overkill. It's practically plug and play with nearly any display with a USB port.

Many new laptops don't have CD players in them anymore. For those of us that still use CDs for storing data (or have a large music collection on CD like I do), they are sorely missed. No problem. This simple, affordable, USB driven player provides the solution. The only reason I'm docking one star, is that the free software that comes with it, is not easy to use, or reliable. Windows media player worked better for me. Still, the drive itself is amazing.

This is a great DVD player to use if you have a computer that does not come with one and it’s also semi easy to set up but you do have to pay attention to the instructions and may have to search for a video on YouTube.

This is just what I needed to install software to my new laptop which didn't have a burner on it. Reasonable price and good quality.

This drive performs as advertised. However, it has one weakness. It does not come with a USB-C cable. It is bad enough in these modern days that the device does not use USB-C, but it is inexcusable that the connection cable does not use USB-C.

works great, we had some live music cd recordings we wanted to duplicate.

Nowadays with online subscriptions for both music and movies, people don't feel like they need physical media, but I do. If I am going to have a soft copy, I will be the one making it from the physical movies and music I purchased. Also, not fond of providing usage analytics regarding movie viewership and listening to internet radio.
