    I never had problem with this brand Of portable CD burner Only reason I had to replace mine cause my cat snap my cable port in it so I went with same brand .

    My newer MacBook Pro has no CD drive. Works with no sofware. I use this to burn all my photos onto CDs. It does seem flimsy but I have delicate hands so it should be fine.

    I was looking at the Apple CD read/writer and it was a lot more expensive. This one does all the same things at a cheaper price. Easy setup! Plug it in and your ready to go!
