It worked quite well but died in 1.2 year Ill add on the dvd's behalf he did copy over 700 cd's using it . I built him a laptop that had a dvd drive but when he did the first 150 and i heard it whining (He's not so good at keeping thing clean or taking care of them lol ) I said oh you should buy a external dvd /cd drive so you do not destroy the internal for resale value . Most people will copy that much in 5 to 10 years so Ill give it a 4 as i love lg products but these both are going with an Asus Laptop
