Good external DVD drive for new laptops w/o one

This is perfect. The last one worked for over 4 years before it stopped functioning, so I expect this will last just as long if not longer.

Excellent External drive

This day and age all basic laptops don't have DVD/CD drive so you have to download everything. We love our external drive, we use it a few times every month to back up stuff, to download stuff or just to load new software. It works just as good as the first day we used it.

Great portable dvd writer.

This did the trick. Most people use usb drives but when you know people who have older pc's, this is an option if your personal rig doesn't have an internal dvd writer.
