Great performance and easy to use. Speed is also good

This is perfect DVD/CD drive , small in size and very easy to hook up. reasonably priced, I highly recommend this to anyone.

I got this because it said it was Mac compatible and I didn't want to spend $80 on an Apple one. This is considered outdated tech, so I'm not sure why it costs so much. It works right out of the box. It's so easy to use, and requires no installation. However, the software that comes with it is only for Windows, so if you need that for any reason, this DVD player will not work for you.

Very recently made, February this year, easy to use on laptop. I can watch movies on my laptop finally with the DVD player that includes software to play the DVD I want.

For what I need it works perfectly, easy to use, I bought it to install the Microsoft Office Professional program on my PC, I would not know if it has more uses, but for what I need it fulfills its commitment, a fantastic price. I can't ask for more!

The internal DVD/RW drive in my desktop died and the Geek Squad tech suggested an external drive as a less-expensive and very practical alternative to replacing it. So, I got the LG and it was the perfect thing to to. Handier, more easily accessible and faster, I meets my needs exactly.

I've been wanting to watch the lord of rings for a while, and since I only have it on DVD it makes it a small problem whenever I don't have anything with a disc drive anymore. This made it to where I was actually watch what I wanted to, the general downside to it is that you have to sign up with LG's program. At least it's free the only downside is minor pop-ups only whenever you load the program.

This drive is great, simple set up, portable and does not take much space at all if your having to pack it for travel or business, the only downside is that it will not work on my chrome book but not a big issue for me since I also have a laptop that it works on. I've also seen reviews that say its noisy but, it's pretty quite if it's on a flat surface.

Exactly what I needed! New computer did not have a drive so this enabled me to load older software and worked great!

My old one was only USB 2.0. New computer has upgraded USB ports, USB 3. THIS IS COMPATIBLE So I was able to load software I had on cd’s. I can also use both this and my old one on my Apple laptop and mini. My gaming computer does not have a slot to add the internal cd rom so I was glad to find this. And it’s fast.

Works great. Easy to burn CDs and playlists. Put own videos on DVDs. Plugs into any computer usb port. Reasonably priced. So easy to use.

This little guy is hooked up to my Mac computer, and does the job for it's price range (the cost of a new CD or DVD). It's small, fast, and easy to set up for the Mac (Just plug it in!), and then it allowed me to write and copy and read my CDs super quick! I love it, and it's a GREAT deal for it's price. I 100% recommend this lil' guy!

Easy to set up, easy to use, and a great buy price-wise from Best Buy. I love using this (especially in the era when many laptops don't have optical or DVD/CD drives any more!). Great product. Highly recommended!

Works, a little loud when starting up but quiet once running, can not read Blueray disks however.

Wow! This is a great little DVD player/burner. Total plug and play. Included Software Suite is a plus. No complaints. Works very good, and makes Life Good.

I purchased this because my new computer did not come with a CD drive. It was easy to hook up and and when I put a CD to upload my printer program I didn’t even hear it running. I’ve used it about a month with no problems. I have it just behind the monitor but easy to get to. Would recommend purchasing this product.

I was looking for something easy to use and this worked out well for me.

I bought this because I thought the two internal dvd drives were failing. Turns out they were ok BUT I kept this anyways because I can use with Smart TV. Portable and works just as well as my internal dvd drives.
