Very very nice disc drive. Almost essential to play physical media now since most laptops have removed the drive. This one is so tiny you can almost fit it in your back pocket. I got mine on sale for 20 dollars so if you can find it at this price, I cannot recommend it enough. Great piece of tech.

There is no need to have a cd drive on modern laptops. The space and weight is not necessary for something that is hardly ever used. However when someone requests a hard copy of a set of pictures or documents, this unit can be plugged in in seconds. Very reasonable price makes it worth while.

Having any number of CDs through the years mandated the ability to access them when needed. This adapter is convenient to use and provides the versatility needed for our home office and network.

The disk drive is all hooked up and working well. It appears to be good quality my Windows 10 laptop acknowledged it the first time I booted it up after connecting it. It's small and flat so takes up very little space on my desk. Speed seems to be good.

I bought this to use with a new laptop that I recently purchased (optical drives are being phased out by most manufacturers). I plugged it in via the included USB cable and it worked with absolutely no issues. There seemed to be some confusion about whether or not it was Windows 11 compatible, as I saw Q&A featuring both yes and no answers but I can confirm that it definitely DOES work with Windows 11. The drive itself is roughly the size of a CD jewel case so it is very portable. For the price I paid (I got it on sale for around $20.00) I am very satisfied with my purchase. It also comes with Cyberlink Media software disc, which I can't comment on because I have no intention of using it.

For those of us who still have or use large CD collections, it makes it possible to rip the CD's onto computers and/or SD cards. Works great!

The LG external USB DVD drive works great. It fired up and was usable right away on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It gives me the ability to save my files on a disc as well as to load software that is not downloadable. A great buy at a great price.

The dvd rom working property. Reading and write is to fast. and includes software to make recordings. It was a good investment and above all a good product.

The CD drive on my laptop bit the dust just as I needed it to put together a presentation. I went to Best Buy and quickly found this one on sale for $20! No frills. Took it home and it easily installed and I was able to finish my work. Love it! I can even use it to plug into my TV and show movies!

No body puts these drives in their laptops anymore ; haven't used cd/dvd for a long time.... Then I needed one. Bought this drive ; installed easily and works great! Nice to have one available again.

While we were surprised to realize that new laptops do not come with CD drives, this adjunct was a very nice purchase. Reasonably priced, easy to use, and fulfills what we need.
