very good item; got this so I could use the CD that came with an epsom printer I had just bought to install all the correct drivers, etc. low price. does everything. item comes with a CD with a bunch of useful software on it. I think the build is perfectly fine, kinda disagree with other reviews that call it flimsy. It isn't.

if you are a graphic designer or a gamer, you would not be reading this review. You are trying to get a solid laptop for your bills, your internet maybe. Some basic use like your kids school. You thing you might need a Microsoft surface or some $2000 laptop. You do not. I have a surface pro for work, and honestly, the difference is nil. I think I prefer this one. The only thing I regret is I bought the small screen (which the quality of is remarkably wonderful just in case you were curious) but that's because my teen stepped on my Ases budget laptop because he is a teen. Good thing, because this just blows it out of the water, and I thought that laptop was solid. Anyways, you probably run your world on your phone. My advice, get something like this, which is a great product with a great warranty and is not loaded with marketing ware. Then get a portable hard drive such as Seagate and you are set. Maybe a mouse.. Spend the rest on something way more important than a laptop in 2020. Great speed, s I understand and video, plus windows. What more do you want???

Very easy to use and well worth the money! Was pleasantly surprised that it had so many uses. It's a burner as well as playback. Would recommend it to anyone.

Very compact and efficient unit. Used for a newer laptop and older storage media. Once hooked up it was faster than I expected like it was part of the cpu all along.

In an age where CD/DVD players are more scarce in laptops and desktops, this external drive works wonders. It is portable, lightweight and works very well. I only need to connect it when I am reading a disc and it doesn't take up much space while not in use.

for various reasons, i needed a dvd player/recorder for my laptop as it doesn't have one. This LG external dvd r/w works perfectly and is easy to use. it also was a very reasonable price when purchased.

These are so handy and much cheaper than paying an extra hundred dollars for an internal drive. They're also so inexpensive that I bought one for home and one for the office so I don't have to take it back and forth. Although it's lightweight and compact enough to stick in my purse.
