Works very nicely. Exactly what I needed since most computers do not have this feature anymore.

The disk drive is all hooked up and working well. It appears to be good quality my Windows 10 laptop acknowledged it the first time I booted it up after connecting it. It's small and flat so takes up very little space on my desk. Speed seems to be good.

Recently bought a new laptop that didn't come with a built in DVD/CD drive. With this external drive, can now watch DVD's or listen to CD's on my laptop - makes it nice for travel. Easy plug and play operation. Compact and lightweight. Fits nicely in computer bag. Have had no issues with skipping or not playing clearly.

I like that it allowed me to record and check my drive after I complete my download. I wish I had purchase this before installing one in my old PC.

The LG external USB DVD drive works great. It fired up and was usable right away on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It gives me the ability to save my files on a disc as well as to load software that is not downloadable. A great buy at a great price.

For the price and ease of use, can't beat it!!! I have 2 of them in fact!!!

Very compact and efficient unit. Used for a newer laptop and older storage media. Once hooked up it was faster than I expected like it was part of the cpu all along.

Great optical drive and price was reasonable. I need this to view CD's on my laptop and it works well

Very very nice disc drive. Almost essential to play physical media now since most laptops have removed the drive. This one is so tiny you can almost fit it in your back pocket. I got mine on sale for 20 dollars so if you can find it at this price, I cannot recommend it enough. Great piece of tech.

There's not much to say. I bought it to read and write CDs and it does it well.

Since most newer laptops are not built with CD-ROM's anymore, this was a great thing to find. For it's compact size it works as advertised. No external power is needed to be operated, runs right off the USB port on the laptop. It reads and will write. Allows me to recover old photos from older CD's and now allows me to download and save newer photos and videos to CD. Well worth the price(not expense at all)

Simple, elegant, fast, terrific. Not much more I can say about it, honestly. It fires right up, drives loaded up with out any trouble or hassle, and is absolutely what I needed for my desktop that didn't come with a DVD or CD drive or any sort.

There is no need to have a cd drive on modern laptops. The space and weight is not necessary for something that is hardly ever used. However when someone requests a hard copy of a set of pictures or documents, this unit can be plugged in in seconds. Very reasonable price makes it worth while.

Was a great bargain for the price and did the job. Received a computer for Christmas and with it was Microsoft Window 11 pro. But, no CD drive. Purchasing this did the trick. Fast install.

I had a ton of CDs to rip to my laptop, this worked great. I just plugged it in and off I went, simple and easy.
