Love this DVD drive. I gave my first one to my girlfriend as she was in a dire need, and bought a second one to replace it. Reliable, functional, easy to use with my Windows-11 latpop. Cant go wrong!

Purchased this but have not used yet but happy I purchased it to have all the tools in case I need them.

The company laptop came with no internal drive so I needed an external drive. I went to Vest Buy ro get good advice and Geek Squad. I got the LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive and am completely satisfied with it for loading software and playing training videos. The slim size is perfect, too. USB cord is convenient. Definitely recommended.

Having an Ultrabook is great… until you need a disc reader. Surprisingly for the price, this device was super easy to setup and use. Like simple simple and plenty fast. No complaints here

I haven't burned with it...but Iplayed dvd's and cds. I purchased a new system, and apparently dvd/cd rw are not standard these days. I still have a lot dvd's/cd's/ and disc games, so I wanted that capability. Seems to work well, its a plug in, light weight, fast, only $40, good buy so far...

I purchased the LG USB DVD+RW/CD-RW Drive becaused I had elected to replace my older laptop with a newer All-in-One large screen HP computer. This computer does come with a number of USB connections in the rear, but there is no DVD- CD drive in it. I have some older media, like a complete set of Bible commentaries on CD and a number of older DVD films. I also had my old home movies converted to DVD format and this external drive permits me to view them on my newer All-in-One and event send the images via bluetooth to a large screen TV for viewing. The drive seems to have connected seemlesly and can be removed when not in use. I have also found that it works well with my small Microsoft Surface. It was just what I needed.

My new laptop did not come with a dvd/cd drive so i had to get an external. It`s nice and compact so it stores away easily until i need to use it again. Unlike reviews for other drives that were hard to open this one has a button on the drawer just like an internal unit.

Easy to use external DVD drive. Plug and play USB. The drive is powered over USB so no other connections needed. It became an essential accessory when my new PC did not include an internal DVD drive.

This met my expectations perfectly. I had old files on a CD that I needed to access. This was very easy to install with great instructions and a user guide. It is compact, works effortlessly, and the price was very reasonable.

was sent a CD to listen to from a composer friend of mine. Who the heck still has a CD/DVD drive to even play such files? put your stuff on music streaming services! This worked exactly as you would want it to. Plug and play. Unlike my composer friends.

Was a great bargain for the price and did the job. Received a computer for Christmas and with it was Microsoft Window 11 pro. But, no CD drive. Purchasing this did the trick. Fast install.

Great. Easy to use. Works with Mac OS Catalina. My other CD drive which works perfectly fine does not work with macOS Catalina so I had to purchase this one and it works great.

Purchased this DVD drive to be able to use files I have on DVD+RW on my new laptop, which did not have a DVD drive. It does come with a short cord (approx. 12 inches long) to connect to the pc and it runs quiet. I've had it for a month now and it works perfectly.

I was hoping that this would work good for my PC and it was definitely worth the buck and I was able to burn a CD using the thing and I had no issues with it so far

It was priced right where it needed to make a good decision. When I got it home it works as good as an expensive one.
