I had a ton of CDs to rip to my laptop, this worked great. I just plugged it in and off I went, simple and easy.

Does it’s job and does it well. Just used it to rip a few CD’s for some old classics into iTunes. It did that no problem. Great little device for someone who doesn’t want to add a whole mechanism to their gaming rig.

for burning some CDs! It worked pretty easily with my MacBook Air (using adapters of course) and the “burn” process was super quick too!

Had to buy this because my new HP Envy did not have a DVD drive. Works well. Setup was pretty easy.

Have only used this once but it seems to work well and quietly to access an old CD with pics and videos. As a non-techie I wish the instructions, both the quick start guide the identical User Manuel dealt with more than how to connect the device. The included disc is a hodgepodge of folders and files with no direction on where to go for what. In one place I was told to 'download the app' without a link or app name given. I only hope I can find directions for how to create a disc when I need them

Works decently well for a disk drive, but I do have some qualms with it. The cord that's included with the drive is way too short, and the drive will periodically hitch while reading. Outside of that, it works fine for watching dvds, though I haven't tried to burn anything using it, and while I haven't heard many good things about the included software, you can just use vlc media player.

Very easy to install and work perfect, it is small to hide.

The CD drive on my laptop bit the dust just as I needed it to put together a presentation. I went to Best Buy and quickly found this one on sale for $20! No frills. Took it home and it easily installed and I was able to finish my work. Love it! I can even use it to plug into my TV and show movies!

for various reasons, i needed a dvd player/recorder for my laptop as it doesn't have one. This LG external dvd r/w works perfectly and is easy to use. it also was a very reasonable price when purchased.

Good basic cd/dvd player for the money. It is simple to get set up and lightweight enough to carry protected in my bag

Very convenient as many laptops do not have a CD reader today. Extremely easy to install. It can also be connected to your flat TV to watch movies. The price is very reasonable.

This LG external dvd/cd player works great. I bought this to use with my new laptop and I've had no problems. I would buy this again if needed.

I was hoping that this would work good for my PC and it was definitely worth the buck and I was able to burn a CD using the thing and I had no issues with it so far
