While this product is relatively inexpensive, it works quite well with either Mac or PC. I purchased multiple units as our school computers do not have DVD players. I wanted students to work in teams on a class project which included burning information onto a disc. The unit worked perfectly.

Purchased this unit to load some old photos on the computer. It worked great! Plug and play and very affordable.

works really well. even works on older ones. haven't recorded anything on it yet. plays back dvds very well.

Great external CD/DVD player/buner. The built-in DVD burner died on my laptop. This was way less expensive than having my computer geek install a new drive, plus with the plug-n-play feature, I can use on any Windows or iMac computer. I have LG TVs & always feel they make good products. Comes with an installation disc & cable. Very pleased.

Was very easy to set up. I was able to load all my old games on CD's with no problems. Haven't tried using it as a disk burner yet so can't say anything about that. Very small, so takes up hardly any desktop space. It's a little noisy but other than that it's perfect.

Does everything and more. I love the easy connection and simplicity of the drive. I love the price. Iam learning how to use this drive and it is helping me learn much faster than I thought possible for me. I am very happy with my Drive

This purchase is a replacement for the same item I purchased about 5 years ago. For my job, I have to burn cd's on the go and this player is lightweight, slim and easy to transport. It is very easy to use; just plug in the USB and start using it. My only complaint is that my previous burner only lasted for 5 years and I expected longer use out of it.

Plug and play DVD drive for a laptop to install software from CD. Worked perfectly from the get go. No need for drivers with Windows 11. Price was very reasonable.

This LG external dvd/cd player works great. I bought this to use with my new laptop and I've had no problems. I would buy this again if needed.

My new laptop did not have an optical drive, which is becoming common. This little USB DVD writer, for the price (cheap!) works great and I highly recommend it for those who need either an extra one, or something to fit on their laptop that doesn't provide an optical drive. Works perfectly.
