He wanted to watch movies and had this old microsoft thingy on disk, so i figured buying this woild help to which it did.

Other than some things I had to tweak because this laptop is old and freaking out so sometimes it was being stubborn to connect properly. But at least I have one for when I get a new laptop that'll most likely not have a built in disc drive.
