Having an Ultrabook is great… until you need a disc reader. Surprisingly for the price, this device was super easy to setup and use. Like simple simple and plenty fast. No complaints here

I purchased this External DVD/CD Drive with the hope that I would be able to install an old photo program software onto my new computer since it did not have a DVD/CD Drive. The sales associates were not sure if it would work or not to do this. I am delighted to say that it DID WORK, and I could not be happier as I love my old software!

Bought this to use as a photo album this is my second one and ot wirks great

This CD/DVD drive can stand up to excessive use. I used it for transferring years worth od CD/DVD data and it worked great. It's a lso very inexpensive. I have switched to USB drives now but this comes in handy for any older cd's that need transferring to newer media.

Plug and play, usb cord included, and software disc Works good, but only had it for a month so it may be to early for failure if it does at all

I have been very happy with this CD/DVD drive. It is very compact and fast. It is necessary since most modern computers don't come with a CD drive anymore and I have lots of software and movies on CDs/DVDs. The drive came rapidly after I ordered it. Recommend.

This is a light weight Disc player. If you want to play CDs or discs you need to have this Drive. It is weight light so it can't be tossed around.

I got this to copy all my DVDs to a hard drive. It works great out of the box with my windows 11 pc. Super quiet and lightweight. Seems to go on sale often.

if you are a graphic designer or a gamer, you would not be reading this review. You are trying to get a solid laptop for your bills, your internet maybe. Some basic use like your kids school. You thing you might need a Microsoft surface or some $2000 laptop. You do not. I have a surface pro for work, and honestly, the difference is nil. I think I prefer this one. The only thing I regret is I bought the small screen (which the quality of is remarkably wonderful just in case you were curious) but that's because my teen stepped on my Ases budget laptop because he is a teen. Good thing, because this just blows it out of the water, and I thought that laptop was solid. Anyways, you probably run your world on your phone. My advice, get something like this, which is a great product with a great warranty and is not loaded with marketing ware. Then get a portable hard drive such as Seagate and you are set. Maybe a mouse.. Spend the rest on something way more important than a laptop in 2020. Great speed, s I understand and video, plus windows. What more do you want???

For cheap price and practical usage of a DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive this has been perfect. I have been having issues with my internal DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive so I bought this. Easy hookup and use. No frills, works easily and without issues. It is a bit "cluncky" but not an issue. Lightweight and easy to use between other devices. I would reccomend to buy if it suites your needs.
