For cheap price and practical usage of a DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive this has been perfect. I have been having issues with my internal DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive so I bought this. Easy hookup and use. No frills, works easily and without issues. It is a bit "cluncky" but not an issue. Lightweight and easy to use between other devices. I would reccomend to buy if it suites your needs.

In an age where CD/DVD players are more scarce in laptops and desktops, this external drive works wonders. It is portable, lightweight and works very well. I only need to connect it when I am reading a disc and it doesn't take up much space while not in use.

Great, it replaces the CD attached that most computer manufacturers have discontinued from their computers, SAD. Works great.

Seeing that my Apple - Mac mini did not come with a DVD writer/player, I purchased the LG external. I love it! Works perfect with my Mac-mini with no glitches. Plays and Writes flawlessly and fast. I highly recommend the LG for use with any Mac computer. By the way, the price is much lower than I expected.

The external CD drive works quite well. It is small and takes up no space to speak of.

I purchased the LG USB DVD+RW/CD-RW Drive becaused I had elected to replace my older laptop with a newer All-in-One large screen HP computer. This computer does come with a number of USB connections in the rear, but there is no DVD- CD drive in it. I have some older media, like a complete set of Bible commentaries on CD and a number of older DVD films. I also had my old home movies converted to DVD format and this external drive permits me to view them on my newer All-in-One and event send the images via bluetooth to a large screen TV for viewing. The drive seems to have connected seemlesly and can be removed when not in use. I have also found that it works well with my small Microsoft Surface. It was just what I needed.

Lots of pcs are phasing out having built in cd/dvd drives. I was fortunate enough to find this at a really good price. It's pretty much plug and play.
