    I purchased this because I did not read that my last laptop which I purchased from Best Buy had a player in it. So I still have this one and will use it with my new laptop I'm going to buy from Best Buy. I gave the last laptop to a granddaughter for college.

    This did what I needed it to do. It was just a little difficult to set up on the computer at first. It works good now, allows my laptop to play DVD’s since it doesn’t have a disk drive.
