Pleasantly surprised at how fast this can read and write discs. Bought this as an addition to the new gaming laptop I purchased, which didnt come pre-installed with one. Now I can play the older games I still have on CD and burn mp3 discs and watch DVDs too.

Only tried this a couple times to make sure it worked...purchased this because my new laptop doenst have a player built in like my old computer. Seems sorta flimsy but will only use it a few times a year to watch dvd movies when in the boonies. It does work, so 4 stars will see if it lasts.

These USB drives are a must have if you have a modern system with no optical drives. Its LG and it works great. Grab one when they're on Sale.

Does what it is supposed to do. Waste to operate. Works well.

Works fine, I have not tried to burn a CD with it yet. it moves around a lot on the desktop due to its light weigh. I am never sure where place it. It is tempting to use as a coaster for a Beer or Mixed drink to keep track of it

Does what it says, no bells and whistles but does great.

This disc device makes it easier to view the items needed to complete work for the various boards I’m on. Plus, it shows great videos and play quality sounds with music CD’s

Works great since my gaming computer I did not install a cdrom drive.

Laptops don't come with DVD drives anymore - picked this up to be able to hook it up to my computer with a USB connection. Great product

Have not used it enough to review, however the salesman, Aron, told me they only had a 2TB model and I assumed that is what he gave me. Got home and it was a 1 TB model.

For the price its hard to complain but is does get really loud. Works perfectly fine and the included software is simple to use and understand.

I got this last month for my MSI gaming laptop which did not come with an optical drive, I still need that for downloading some software and music cd, works great. + it was on sale.

It gets the job done. I like to use it on long flights.

The drive works on my laptop (Windows) but not on my desktop (Apple). I may have misread the description. At any rate, it works well with my Windows laptop. Just wish it also worked with my Apple-Mini desktop as well. Definitely do NOT recommend for Apple users.
