Works great

It works great and reproduces fairly quickly. It can also be used for DVDs as well, but I haven't tried that yet.

Which I love because it makes it lighter. Don't use a DVD writer often. I Have several CD's with pictures and music. So perfect when I do listen or watch. Works great.

Good drive at a great price

A big improvement over my last one which required plugging into 2 USB ports for enough power. This drive runs fine on one. So far I've only used it to rip music CDs; have not tried writing to it.

The packaging is well-padded, so I store it there and keep it handy in my backpack. I work at a school, and teachers have heard that I have this thing.....and often want to borrow it!

The display model. Could not get through to geek squad. The store doesn’t pick up and the geek squad help line gave me the wrong information. Not helpful. I finally had to walk in and wait to be helped. Found out my laptop was discontinued and they weren’t sure they would get a new one for me. That’s why the display.

Just works for the purpose of ready CDs and DVDs, though I have not (yet) tried to burn any media. For that purpose, I would have prefered a USB 3.0 device, but this drive is only USB 2.0. But that should still be workable...
