This little external CD drive worked great. Needed to transfer some music from my CD's and did not have a CD Drive on my laptop. This connected right away and my laptop found the drive and worked like a charm.

I love how slim my new laptop is without a disc drive but i did needed to purchase this external drive for the rare occasion that I still need to be able to read a disc. It worked just as needed.

Seems to be a good addition for my HP Spectra laptop! Still miss having the older laptops where everything was included. Smaller isn't always better. Bet a lot of people think the same way!

It plays my Dvds and CDs great with good image quality on my laptop screen. I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately laptops tend to not come with DVD readers and burners like they use to. Found it cheaper to get an external one than to have a custom one made. This filled the job very well.

It's nice to have these additional products since computers don't come with CD drives.

This product presents as advertised. I needed a slightly larger screen than my previous model.

Most laptops no longer have cd/dvd drive. This helps with backup, music and watching movies. A must have for me.

Still a lot of application that requires a CD ROM out there. I understand everybody of us appreciate lighter, smallest, faster devices. But in the business sector there are a lot of trainings, info, etc. That is only available thru this type of media..... very satisfied with my purchase.

Sometimes I can't eject a disk and sometimes when I insert a disk it doesn't play automatically. I have not had a chance to try burning a disk on the external drive,

Sorry , I returned this item because I really did not need the extra drive . There were no questions asked and they took the drive back with no problems. This was much appreciated.

Easy to use and set up. Takes a while to download cds but this was a cheaper option than getting it included with my macbook.

No problems and the software works. I have used it on windows machines and it hasn’t let me down. My wife grabbed it so I’ll have to by another next time they go on sale.

Kinda overpriced in my opinion, but it gets the job done. Slow to todays standards though, so be aware of that.

I bough a new computer, but most computers do not come with a cd player anymore. I have cd's that I like. I have been very pleased with this LG cd player. I haven't had it that long, but I am pleased with it so far.

This has been a great addition to our laptop. We had a PC for years and saved a lot of pictures, videos and files on CDs and DVDs that we were not able to access anymore.

Bought new PC without DVD burner but still wanted the option. Economical way to still keep have the option.

I like to have hard copies of my media. Since most new laptops and desk top computers don't come with a drive I picked this up. Has good speed for loading games and playing movies.
