The LG DVD is good but not as good as the Samsung. The remote is much smaller than the Samsung’s. I have 2 Samsungs and like them. We thought our FIOS was messed up but we figured out that the DVD player is fluky because the other one is fine. Things happen, just need to exchange.

You have alot of items I wish you would carry some schools supplies you would be surprised at the resultsd

It works as an external disk drive for my tablet and notebook that do not have one. I can use dvd's I bought years ago on various topics, language, cooking etc. I can use my personal files offline and not always depend on an internet connection and some company's cloud drive.

We bought this to replace an old desktop PC with a built in DVD/CD Drive. It plugs into a docking station and a laptop. No issues playing both CDs or DVDs. Have not used it to burn anything yet.

Very convenient disc drive - used it to install motherboard drivers on a new build. It was convenient to not have to install a SATA interface disc drive - no issues with this model yet.

Pretty much no laptops come with a dvd/cd drive. I rip a lot of cd’s and also just think you should have one on hand. It’s plug and play. And works great.

I’m glad there is an inexpensive option to add a external physical media capabilities to chrome books etc. I don’t really like that they are getting away from this, i don’t believe solely downloads are the way to go, even though it’s leaning that way

It functions perfectly for my needs. Long cord is useful and easy to bundle and keep tidy.

It arrived on time and it does what it's supposed to do. I've had it for a few weeks now and I've been using it to rip four or five music CDs a day. It hasn't give me any trouble.

Just as expected. I don't have a CD drive on my computer so this works perfectly.

Reasonably good external dvd drive. Bought for iPhone but maybe it will work for iPhone 15.

I was skeptical that this would work on a battery driven laptop with the limited current available. However, even on a small laptop using battery power this has worked great for the legacy software I have on CD and DVD

I have inherited a lot of CDs that contain family photos and videos. I purchased this with the intent of transferring those files from these CDs. For regular CDs, this does a great a job of transferring the files at a reasonable speed. However, if you're discs have a sticker layer on top, which my family loved to put on as label, the performance of this device is astronomically horrendous. File transfers of less than 1GB take hours if I am able to get any sort of transfer at all. I switched back and forth between stickered and non-stickered discs to verify this and the performance is better with non-stickered discs. I exchanged this device to see if there would be an improvement, but nope, still same issues. Now I would remove the stickers, but its frankly quite impossible. Disappointed that this device can't handle discs with a slightly larger thickness.

Wanted to play dvd's on my TV and sales person recommended this item. However, my tv doesn't have a usb port and there is not usb to plug in converters, so I can't use the item. Sales person should have told me this.

It's all about on-demand these days. Plus, if you are looking for storage solutions, just use Dropbox. I mean, this thing works as intended, but it's not the best solution out there.

The external DVD drive works great, especially for listening to audio books while I read email, do puzzles, etc. I love it when I can accomplish 2 tasks at the same time!
