    Needed a basic disk drive for my Mac Mini. Saw this on sale. Decided to get the LG brand instead of a generic brand on Amazon. Works for me, although the case seems a little flimsy. Good enough for once in a while use.

    Mom needed it for some sewing and embroidery programs as newer laptops don't come with a CD or Disc Drive anymore. This will work until those break, so good purchase.

    With many laptops excluding a DVD this external add on fills a need. Great quality image at a low price that surprised me. I did need to find a driver to operate it but there are a several free apps available.

    When I recently purchased two new laptops, I need a way to load some software on them that I had on a disc. The Best Buy sales rep suggested this external drive. It was on sale, too. It seems a little slow but it has done everything I wanted to do. For the price, a good item.

    The sound from this machine is excellent. I have tried many and most are noisy players (not musically). This one is a quiet DVD/CD player that is an excellent buy for the money. I recommend it.

    I was surprised when I was ask to load software on a new laptop that there wasn't disk drive. The LG external drive is a great option. Pulled it out of the box, hooked it up, Windows 10 did it thing, and I was up and going.

    Since most of the new laptops don’t come with DVD RW +CDC RW Drive having this allows me to still burn dvd’s that I need for presentations that I share with potential donors to my nonprofit organization.
