The drive and software works very well together...should work out when i upgrade to another pc sometime this year

A pretty basic external CD reader, works exactly as you would expect. Had no problems using it.

Purchased this for making music CDs and for viewing CDs I have made in the past on older computers. My new Samsung does not have a Optical Disc Drive. Works fine and is really not much of an effort to use.

haven't used it yet but will have to since my new computer has no DVD player and I might just need it to install programs, I also have a laptop with no DVD player so it will come in handy, I also trust LG products so I don't think I'll have any problems with it

Quick and easy and right on time!! Will use this buying method on a regular basis. Best thing it keeps me out of the store where my impulse buys can get expensive

Works good, but a hassle when using the lap top on your lap. No mounting system to keep it out of the way.

It's an external disk drive. It doesn't have amazing transfer speeds and it doesn't have tremendous build quality or anything like that. This product is a very standard version of what it is; that said, it's solid and it does exactly what you need it to do.

Perfect for viewing CDs since my laptop does not have a CD drive. Got it cheaper when I went by store because of a sale, and that made the purchase even sweeter!

I haven't really used it a lot but it's been very reliable when he have had to use it, and very simple with it's simple USB interface. Great if you just have those odd DVD's you gotta burn or CD's you found in the attic.

Most new laptops don't have a CD-ROM, so i picked this up as i have many files and songs backed up on CD. Reads well, writes well, not much more to say

It is good for if your computer doesent have a disc player. It does have a short cord, but if i needed a longer one i could buy another one, for cheap.

Product works as intended. I like that it has a slide out tray. DVD RW burners that only have a slot can be a problem should the disk not eject.

I needed an easy way to rip all of my CDs to my hard drive. This external CDRom worked perfectly. I was concerned that the speed would be slow but it worked fine.
