I walked into Best Buy and Sales wanted me to buy the Apple brand. Save yourself $50.00 by buying this instead . It worked great.

I have a Dell Tower computer and the DVD player is crap. Never worked in the first place and I was told Dell just makes them cheaper.

Software issue on computer, not with the cd drive. You have to download cyberlink to use. If you don't know there is a free version, you could be suckered in to paying extra to use this. I wish it was a plug and play item. The only reason I would not recommend this product is because it is not plug and play.

Ejection problems

I'm used to pushing the eject button and having the tray open. That doesn't happen with this machine. I had to unplug the connecting cord each time to open the tray.
