Nice slim DVD/CD writer

Connects up easily to the computer via USB and creates DVDs from MPG files. Small and compact. The only problem is that the cable that comes with it is very short. A longer cable would have worked out better.

It fits in my laptop case to bring along with it. Great purchase and good price.

I was very happy with the LG. It was easy to install and use and I got it for a good price. It works very well for me.

Great BB Service but LG not so good

When I checked the price, it was competitive with others. The next day BB dropped the price to half. What's not to love about that? The LG drive worked fine right out of the box with Windows recognizing it without any action on my part. However, I'd recommend another brand. The disc tray is very flimsy and probably won't last long (that' why only 4 stars). But I'm still pleased with the purchase overall

Necessary for new computers

Add a cd/DVD RW to your computer

Cost effective and works perfectly. Also is great for data backups and listening to music cd's.
