    I didn't realize that new desk top computers do not have a disc drive. This one is great and low cost

    This is a great compact DVD R/W for people on the move. With laptops and tablets not equipped with these anymore, this fills that much needed gap for storage and archiving

    My second LG product - Mac laptops don't have CD/DVD drives any more. Excellent economic way to access DVDs. Highly recommended for home/travel use!

    Reads and writes disks. Not much more I can ask. It did seem a tad expensive for a simple disc drive.

    With the new computers you have to use this. My old computer I could put a disk in and install anything I needed to put in the computer.

    Had to buy this as the new PC cases don't have a DVD drive slot anymore. Had to install some old software on a newly built PC. Gets the work done.
