    Bought to play movies (DVDs) on a bedroom TV. It turns out you need a "smart TV" to do that. Still works for my Mac a R/W drive.

    Oh my gosh!!! I was in need of a DVD burner since my MacBook no longer has a dvd drive. This thing right here is perfect! For burning dvds and viewing them as well

    I was hoping this would work with the TV and the computer. It works only with the computer. I have tried it on a smart TV and a non-smart. The cord is quite short- it could be a bit longer.
