Easy to install, works great. Connected drive to my all-in-one desktop via USB cable. Cable is included in box, device self installs once connected.

There was nothing wrong with the product, and the price was very reasonable. It is compact and easy to use. The problem I had is that the software was obsolete, and I had to contact the manufacturer to download up to date software.

Used this to import a bunch of cd's and dvd's to my external hard drive. Easy to use because it's plug and play, and its never skipped a beat in a track and never jumped during a movie.

The drive is easy to fit in the computer bag along with the laptop. Used it to load files and software which did quickly. I would recommend the drive. It was plug and play.

This is exactly what it says it is. I've been using it for almost a year now, and have had no problems. Reading and writing CDs and DVDs is quick and flawless. Excellent drive for an excellent price.

Most portable laptops and other systems don't have a drive like this anymore. This is USB and is really small and even though you don't need it very often, when you do, it works perfectly!

I just had gotten a new computer, but I also needed extra room to make copies from a disk to a USB. I am not computer literate but this is so easy to use. The price was very very good.

I am old school, still listening to CDs. I like to take my purchased CDs and rip them and then burn onto a blank CD just the songs that I want. The writer on my laptop stopped working so I decided to purchase an external writer instead of a new laptop. This writer does a great job of ripping and burning CDs. It is simple to install and works with the programming on my old laptop very easily. If you want a good basic writer, this is a great one. Note: the associate at the Best Buy store told me that this writer would be good for CDs and DVDs but not blue-ray or higher definition videos. Since I wanted it for CDs, this was not an issue for me.

Great item. It comes with a connecting cable to plug into your computer. Very easy to use. And I've transferred many videos already from my computer to a DVD writable disk. You can also insert a DVD into it and play that on your computer as well. Originally I bought a different model, but it didn't have and cable in the box to use it, so I sent it back and bought a different model - this one.

Since I don’t have a lot of use for this, just occasional, this fits the bill. It’s light, slim and does the job. I don’t know if it could hold up to heavy use, but for my purposes it’s great and at a great value! Super easy to get set up as well!
