    Bought for a laptop that has no internal drive. Works well but supplied cord is removable and is now lost. Would have preferred it had a permanent cord attached.

    My 2nd one. The first died after one use. Best Buy exchanged it...no problem. Used 2nd 1 once. Hopefully, it will operate a long time

    This unit works fine and I use it often. Most new computers are not equipped with DVD/CD players.

    The LG external DVD writer is just ok. It works with no problems. I just wish it was a little faster, I use it to copy my old cd's to my iTunes library mostly.
