I have had a few different DVD drives over the years, and so far this one is doing what it's supposed to do. It has the added benefit of being quite slim and lightweight.

Need a drive to load software on my laptop. I know I should buy the download version but this also doubles as a method to create dvd's. No fast but still gets the job done. Simple plug and play.

I got this for my gaming pc since it did not have a cd drive and I needed one to ensure that graphics card was update and such and this very thin, small and easily stored away device got the job done. It was great for what I needed it for and cheap too.

Need a optical disk drive because gaming PC manufacturers think they are unnecessary? This is your answer. Works great and was easy to adhere to the side of the PC and the hub holds disk while in a vertical position.

I love how you don't need to download a software to use it. You just simply plug it into your MacBook Pro and it's ready to use! I have not tried to use it with my smart TV yet, but it works great with my Mac.

Good CD/DVD drive for the money. Also if you need to use CDs laptops no longer come with CD capacity. Easy to connect and use.

I recently purchased a new laptop and needed an external dvd drive. A best buy sales agent suggested this one and it works great! Does exactly what I need it to do and it is very quiet when running!

This thing works great. I had to get a new computer and the new one didn't have a CD burner. I like to burn music CDs and this saved me.

LG drive works great. You store and can play files with this portable writer. Has data storage as well. It works great and compatible with my computer that is Levano not LG.

Bought this LG external USB DVD/CD drive because the new HP laptop I bought at Best Buy did not have an internal DVD/CD drive (seems like no laptops have DVD drives these days). Worked Plug and Play without problems. Only had one program (app to you young folks) to load onto my new laptop, Microsoft Office on DVD/CD, which I bought several years ago so I would not have to "rent" it forever like Microsoft wants you to do. After loading my one program, unhooked the drive and put it in the closet. Will pull it out and hook it up again if I have any more apps to load. Thx BB!

Works fine. It is a light case, so do not treat it roughly. However, it had burned both CD-ROMs and DVDs for me without fuss.

Works well. Able to read my old cd disc files and play dvds. Simple to use and attaches to every pc and laptop we have with out issues.

Works well so far but it is still new. I wish the cord was a little longer and the body a bit heavier as it is a bit awkward installing/removing discs.

Works great and very easy to use/set up. New desktop didn’t have a cd/dvd drive and still need it now and then. Good solution.
