Works great and very easy to use/set up. New desktop didn’t have a cd/dvd drive and still need it now and then. Good solution.

Works well so far but it is still new. I wish the cord was a little longer and the body a bit heavier as it is a bit awkward installing/removing discs.

Unfortunately with new laptops nowadays, they don't include a disk drive. Even those that do are generally region locked and I do tend to purchase DVDs that would be from other regions. I did research to try and find a good DVD disk drive that was region free but it was rather difficult. I finally came across this DVD drive and since it was on sale, I decided to give it a try. It works perfectly well with playing DVDs from other regions and relatively small and lightweight so it won't be a hassle to carry around. If there is one con, while it does feel durable, you should probably get a carrying case for it just to make sure it's safe. Other than that, I adore this and can't wait to take it with me on the go!

I bought this drive to load the operating system on my laptop after installing a new SSD. It was recognized without me having to do it manually. All I had to do was change the boot order and it hooked right up!

This product was easy to install and is ready for any CD playing or installation. I bought a laptop without a CD drive so I felt that I needed this addition.

I got this because the tax software I bought did not come with a digital copy only a disk. It was easy to just plug into my laptop through usb, load the disk and start going. Worked exactly how I wanted.

I'm pleased with the ease of operation, and the price. It does seem a bit fragile, with a thin plastic shell, but that's fine for the inexpensive cost. So far, I'm happy with the product.

Great buy. Most new computers don't have a DVD player so for us who tons of CD and DVD this is a must.

This LG drive is slim and functional. I haven't had any issues and it was plug and play. New computers are not coming with optical drives so you may need one on your next upgrade. I have no complaints.

Got the job done for a reasonable price. Had some videos and pictures from a wedding 18 years ago. Wanted to get them on my MacBook.

I am using it for my computer and laptops at my home, and it is great. Very slim and light, easy to connect and use. Not the fastest, but it is perfect to upload music CDs or save pictures and videos in DVD.

Works great!!! It's quiet and helpful when needing to play a disc on a newer laptop since almost 100% don't have disc drives anymore.

When my last computer finally died I needed a computer with a disc/dvd Drive. To my surprise that new laptops no longer have that drive. This purchase was so easy to use. Great price was a win for me.

I purchased it to replace a drive that I ordered from Amazon that didn't work the drive didn't include a driver disc. The LG drive was easy to install and it works really good.

Works out the box, just plug and play, no drivers needed for Windows.

I needed this because it is hard to find a laptop in my price range that comes with an installed CD/DVD drive. This one is perfect. It is easily carried with my laptop in its bag; connects easily; and performs flawlessly.

Excellent product, worked exactly how I wanted it to. I used it to burn CDs for my car radio.
