Costs a little more but worth it. Interacted well with 2 different computers. Ripped and copied CDs. Comes with software but i preferred using the CD/DVD software that i already had on one of my computers. I used the software with the second computer. The software has lots of extra functions which i have not used.

Works great. Easy to install. My new lap top did not have a CD Drive. This allowed me to install printer divers from original disks when they were not available on line.

I bought this because I needed one for my Mac but the Best Buy associate recommended it instead. I have a PC for work that I can now use it on. It is also half the price of the Mac version

This product is easy to use just plug and play to your computer laptop. No have to worry about whether it’s compatible with your devices. good product For the value.

I got this. and for 40 dollars it works amazing. i just plug and play into my laptop. No issues whatsoever. can't beat the quality at this price

with having to purchase a new computer for windows 11, and most computers not having cd/dvd drives, I had to purchase a drive so I could put my woodworking stuff on this new computer.

Very thin and light. Works well with Windows 10 PC. This DVD player connects only to TVs with USB input and acts a USB drive to the TV. Only media file types supported by your TV can be played.

I bought this specifically to download CD's to my new (oct 2020) Mac Desktop computer. I am not that tech savvy, so was worried that: 1) I would have a hard time using it from beginning to end. 2) it wouldn't download CDs to my computer where I could not only listen, but upload to my phone and I would have to use a specific program or some other software to listen. 3) might screw up my new computer and I won't know how to fix it FYI, the instructions are very minimal, which didn't help my fears. Glad to tell you that none of my fears were realized, I literally plugged it in (no lights indicating it "on" until you press the button), opened the CD drawer using the button on the front it did its magic. It automatically connects to apple Music and lets me know if I already have it in my library. Popped open when the CD was done downloading. No trouble with my computer either. I purchased a cheap drive (and it is pretty cheap material wise), but the sound quality seems fine to me. I don't notice a difference between this, the radio or other CD's I downloaded when computers had CD players. Note's: I downloaded about 25 CD's and don't plan on downloading that many CD's, so not sure if it will be long lasting. Haven't tried downloading to my phone yet (but don't think the drive will have anything to do with that}. All in all very much worth the less than $30 price and happy I got it.

Simple to use, comes with cable to hook up to computer, and a great price when purchased with the computer. order online and pick up in front of the store is fantastic!

I got this one because it was a good price... So far it has worked without any issues. We have another one my son uses and it still works just fine after about 3 years....

This drive does exactly what I wanted it to do -- connect externally to a PC so as to play CDs through it -- with minimal muss and fuss, and the price was right, too. Can't beat that!

My recent computer purchase did not have a dvd drive. This was the solution. Very small, light weight. Fits in my computer case easily. I don't play dvd's very often but this gets the job done.

It's compact portable with adequate read/write speed for my needs. Also it just uses one USB connecter for both power and data transfer. It's everything I expected and has worked great so far.

Imagine my surprise when I started shopping for a new laptop and found that most do not have optical drives! I suppose it is to encourage users to download software. However, having invested in lots of software over the years ( some that will even run on Windows 10), I need to be able to install my disks. Also, although OneDrive had my system up and running seamlessly, much of my music library was gone. Again, I’m not keen on rebuying stuff, even if downloads are easy. My new LG disk drive works well. Also, it is slim and smart-looking. My work area is small, and it fits right in.
