    Nothing special. Not bad, but not great for the cost. It works to play DVD on the laptops that no longer have any ability to read recovery discs, but given the number and variety of USB 3.0 portable CD/DVD/ reader-burners out there, the price is too high. If you really need one immediately, then it's fine and does the task.

    It does not work with older Apple air computers. I bought it to read programs for teaching and it said on the box it would be compatible but it is not. It will work on brevet computers with faster processors.

    I viewed an old graduation video, an old sports youth sports commemoration video, and a college graduation video using this item and it worked perfectly normal for the 1st 2 videos. When going to play the 3rd video the image started to pause and then replay. Good for short term use. Starts to have problems with long term use.
