These drives are usually "Plug and Play" for basic disc reading and writing on modern operating systems. If prompted for downloads, they are often optional media suites; you can typically skip them and use your computer's native File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) to manage files and discs. Good drive..doesn't work for Mac OS

The BB sales person assured me it would work..folks, ignore the 20 year olds and just do your own research lol!

Hopefully, it will be fine. But I find that putting discs in and removing them is not that easy. Perhaps I am spoiled, as I always used CD drives that were built into the computer.

I had connected to a MAC Computer, seems to a number of people works great, Had a number of great features but in my case did not work to well, but do not go by my review.

I am not the good with computers, so someone with better skills could better use this item.

Each time I try to play a DVD I have problems getting it to play. Maybe it is just me but I think playing could be as simple as playing a CD in my truck.
