I love how thin this is, Ithought I would never be able to listen to my old music

I like the small design, portable and quiet. not bad $10 for a deal of the day.

Just plug into laptop & you're good to go. Works like a charm. Worth the money vs. cost of repair of internal cd drive.

Most laptops do not have internal disc drives which had me in a predicament. This is a great value drive! Only used to read and copy from multiple discs but was fast and effortless.

I picked this up for $20 on sale. Great for loading disk based software on my Surface Book. Also good for burning audio CDs. Very quiet in comparison to my last laptop with a built in drive.

I purchased a new laptop that did not include a disc drive. Needed one to install some old programs and burn some CD's. Purchased this one and like it so far. No problems. Seems to do a great job.

I bought this portable dvd player to use at work. It worked better than I thought and was easy to install and use. Not costing a lot was an added benefit. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Like most other reviewers, I bought a computer that didn't include a DVD/CD drive and one was needed to access my old files that I had burnt to CD/DVD years ago as well as a few installation discs. This got the job done. This is truly a plug and play device that works great with Windows 10. I didn't bother installing the software bundled with it because I have no intention of burning any DVDs or CDs, but I was able to access my files and watch a DVD or two using the basic free software that I already had on my computer. My only issue is the whole device seems like it would be very easy to break if you handle it too roughly. The door on the drive is very flimsy.

Fast and small. Works great. Does what I needed it to do just fine.

I bought this product to play DVDs, which it does very well. (I have no feedback on burning discs.) Positive: I plugged in the drive (to my mac mini), inserted a DVD, and it automatically launched the DVD player app and played the disc - didn't have to install or setup anything, which is as it should be. Negative: The unit is so light, its small rubber feet can't hold the drive in place. The drive uses a tray loading mechanism, and you need one hand to hold the drive and one hand to load/unload the disc. A cheap improvement would be to provide velcro strips to secure the bottom to some surface, to allow one-handed operation.

Laptops do not come with internal disk drivers anymore. Picked this one up to use with my new laptop. Not too expensive. Easy to use.
