The cords are way too short so if you wanted to use this with your SmartTV it may not even reach the ports. I have some older programs that I want to be able to download on my computer which is no longer equipped with a CD slot so I had no other choice but to invest in an external CD drive. overall disappointed.

Good price, simple connection, ezzy squezzy, right?...WRONG!... It's VERY difficult to get the drawer to open, and equally difficult to retrieve your DVD when you're done. I would have gladly payed a few extra bucks for a more functional, easy to use design.
