It can be used with a Chromebook but there are some major limitations to using a Chromebook with an external DVD or CD drive. External DVD drives aren’t officially supported on Chrome OS. Compatible. Good DVD/CD, where’s the cord?

Well It didn't work with Windows 10 on my Lenovo. No Driver software included. Just a Cyberlink Media Suite DVD, OEM version. Tried contacting LG to no avail. Cyberlink version was compatible> But the could offer me an updated version with no problem. Sorry won't be purchasing any other products of this nature from LG.
