It only worked for about 2 weeks total (spending most of its life stored neatly).

If you need a disk drive for you laptop to move data or install something to your computer it works fine, and it claims it has a dvd writer but will not play dvd video

DVD Good but external hookup made poorly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to use my DVD Writer for only 3 wks then the external connection broke.The connections that you plug in the computer were to loose to stay in the ports making it unusable.Then the computer also said the DVD malfunctioned. Very disappointed in the quality of this product for 30 dollars.

Faulty product from LG and worst bestbuy service

Since the return window was only till 05 November, they did not took it return or replaced. I simply dropped the product at customer care window at bestbuy and stepped out from store and a pure loss of $27 with faulty product and worst customer service at bestbuy

How to Eject Disc from the drive
• When using with Mac: Click the eject button located on the Mac OS menu or toolbar.
• When using with Windows: Press the eject button on the front of the product.

I ended up returning this item.

Too much info about how to buy video editing softw

Very frustrating when I couldn't even play a DVD on this drive.
