It is not from the disk because I used the same Disk on the drive on my computer and it works much better. Really wanted to return it.

Was going to use it for a back up of my old Windows 7 with no luck. Tried to set it up with new computer with Windows 11 with no luck. Bought this and a pack of recordable DVDs and feel it was a waist of money and time.

The guy at Geek Squad was surprised that it worked (with his CD) and after bringing it home & trying to work with it, all I can say is that it’s very selective in what it will play and you can’t rely on it being a dependable tool.

This hidden fee is not mentioned. Don't know if it is a one time $60 or I will have this stone around my neck yearly. I thought LG was a reputable company but not now. I suggest you shop around the REAL PRICE IS $100 maybe more depending on the fee set up. The CD player itself does work fine. I wanted to share that too.

Initially good but stopped working.
