Since most laptops are not being built with CD/DVD ROMS today, I had to get something that would burn my CDs onto my hard drive so I could download them to google play music. This burner is great. Easy to set up and use.

This external dvd player is easy to use and works well. It is light weight and compact. It easily fits in my laptop case with my laptop.

This LG USB double layer DVD/CD is really practical and efficient. I like the practicality of it's compact size which does not take too much space. I used it for loading my software and it performs well.

Most computers don’t have a drive. So, I use this with my Apple laptop. Does a decent job, I only wish it would come with its own software.

I like the fact that i dont have to have an ac or dc adapter for power plus using the usb to transfer and play. It's 1 usb cable and you can take it where ever. Free of an outlet.

I've been buying these for months now for work. They are fairly cheap and plug and play. It allows everyone to run software and play DVDs on computers that had no disc drives.

Used this little work horse to load over 350 music CDs to a Brennan B2. Was fast and relatively quiet. Only had a couple of misreads, and the corrected on a second try.

If you're looking for a dependable external disc drive/writer you can connect to your iMac or other computer, look no further. I bought this with a bit of skepticism because all of my past computers have had built-in disc drives- and because of my line of work, I absolutely NEEDED to have one that would function with both my desktop iMac and my Macbook Air. So I turned to this one because of reviews and reputation. And I wasn't disappointed! It was easy to install, it works immediately without effort, and it's done everything I've needed it to so far. I'd recommend it without any reservations!

It does the job. No bells or whistles. But for the price you can't beat it. I don't expext it to last for 10 years.

works very good and worth it for the price. Nice to be able to burn and read bluerays. Finding a good program is the hard part.

It does what it’s supposed to do, what more can I say. I don’t understand why laptops are no longer coming with DVD drives...whatever...the price was right and it does its job.

I don't know what moron decided new computers no longer need a dvd drive. It is very frustrating that so many cases don't even have a proper bay so I can put one in. Are they not aware not everybody streams everything? I want to watch the tv shows and movies I bought on disc and all my old software so I had to buy this. At least it works pretty good.
