easy to use and works very good. It is easy to connect to the computer.

I plugged it in and it seems to work perfectly. Utilities software disk that came with it won't work with Windows 11 S until you turn off Windows safety. Then it works just like normal, along with every other third party applications.

It works great and runs quietly. Great value for the money.

Great external DVD reader/writer! The product was available in store, and at a fair price. Drive worked great burn some ISOs needed to resuscitate an old IBM mainframe vSE and storage array gone partially bad. Thank you Best Buy for having what was needed, at the right time, and a fair price, that helped in rescuing a distressing business situation.

bought this unit to download photos that were on some cds we came across and our laptops dont have optical drives. out of the box this unit worked great, super easy to set up and get started. it has loads of functions and is so user friendly.

Bought what I thought were external use players from Amazon and one wasn't at all, and the one that was didn't work. Got this from Best Buy for the same or less price, and it works like a charm. I wish I had bought it from BB in the first place!

Purchased this to go with new laptop with no optical drive. Plugged in to laptop and Windows 10 recognized it, The cd drawer opened easily with the touch of the button, installed the programs from CD without a problem. I have not used it as a burner since I have a desktop with a burner, but I am confident that it would burn a CD/DVD fine if I need to. I am sending a link for this to my stepson in Chicago.

Yes external dvd is really good like an external modem i bought sometime ago oh i hope i can play music and watch films yes i will order online jalapeno only accessories for my office

We needed a DVD reader/writer for my wife's PC. We don't anticipate we would use this too much so the price made it a great buy. Software is OK for our use and it installed fine.

I Needed A New Player Because My Other One Just Quit Working. I Wanted The Same Kind Which Was A Dell But They No Longer Had It. This One Works Rather Well. I Only Need It Because Of The Fact That My Computer Doesn't Have A DVD Player. I'd Recommend This One.

The LG External USB RW DVD/CD works well and easily connects to my PC. It doesn’t take up much space although I wish the drawer would have been made a bit more sturdy.

It works, no setup needed. Last player I had was awful and needed software to setup, then it was a 50/50 shot that it worked. Very pleased.

So far it is good product. It is small and quiet. I do not have issues with vibration as others have noted. I have only used for playing and downloading content.

I bought a new laptop that didn't come with a DVD drive. I didn't think I would miss not having one, like my old laptop did. Boy was I wrong. I went back to the store and found the LG drive for an amazing price. It's plug and use. No problems at all. I recommend you try this drive before you waste your money on more expensive ones.
