Geek Squad Technician - Dennis Reed - recommended this drive, picked it up at the store, and installed it on our new computer (see below). As always Dennis provides value added assistance - in that while doing the installation he provided ideas on the use of the Drive and other points concerning our new computer. My wife uses the drive to play CDs of the music she must learn to sing with her Choral group. Excellent choice of Drives with the added bonus of being a Read and Write drive.

Works great. No issues at all. The slim soze allows it to not take up a. Lot of room on my desk and have not had an disk read issues.

DVD RW/CD RW works great. Plug and play. I also loved the software regardless of other reviews. The software is my go to now. Windows is too confusing through their tools.

Picked up in good time even though it was near Christmas. Works as expected. Time will tell how it fares in the long run.

at first it worked great...but as time went on its harder for it to read disks..not sure why its having a hard time..i like the size of it and its very light...maybe i just need to clean a bit...

Very affordable and easy to use. My kids put something in my old imac DVD player so it didn’t work and I wanted a cheap fix. I just plugged it in and it started playing dvds right away. Perfect!

Used this to transfer my CDs to digital files. Worked great. Feels a bit flimsy but that’s not an issue for my purposes.

This is basically a drive that might be in a laptop but in a case. The case could be beefier, thicker. But the beauty is it's small form factor. Burns relatively fast (replaced an external 8x one) So far burns DVD+ and - R and R/W fine. Took maybe 10-12 mins to burn a 4.7Gb iso image, not too bad. The included software isn't very useful to me...

Best Buy just happened to have this at a discount when I was in the market for one so I grabbed it. I had compatibility issues with a previous USB drive but this one's worked without any issue for about 30 burned discs so far. It can be a little noisy while burning but honestly that's the only thing I'm using it for and it doesn't bother me. At current retail price there's much cheaper options but when this is at a discount it's definitely worth it. LG also has a good reputation.

This was a fantastic buy. I purchased a new laptop that did not come with a DVD. This worked perfectly to upload my software from disc. Worked first time; easy to use; no problems.

Awesome little gadget. Since Apple computers don’t have a cd/dvd player, this one is a must. It’s worth it.
